Bouncing Baby!

Thanks to the Scheewe family for the loan of this bouncy seat! Ben loves to bounce while I sew or clean nearby, although he is happiest if I actually watch him bounce and talk to him.

Tongue Roll

Benjamin has a new trick- he can roll his tongue to the side. He loves doing it, so I thought I should record it. I busted out the camera and took some pictures. Here is what I got:



After about 50 mostly blurry photos that didn't show a thing, I got smart and started the video camera. The big moment is almost at the end, although he does a little bit of rolling early on. Enjoy!

Meat Eater

Yes, that is a chicken bone our son is chewing on. Lest you worry, it was very carefully cleaned, and closely watched. Needless to say, he thought it was a great toy.


This is Ben's next to latest attempt at crawling. He has not yet figured out how to get his foot out from under while staying up on his knees. Last night, though, he started doing what looked like push-ups. His whole body was off the floor except his hands and feet. This allowed him to stay in one place instead of scooting backwards. Maybe he'll get this figured out soon!
