Happy Anniversary!
Mari and I celebrated four years of blissful marriage this week. These shots were taken that historical day. She prepared supper while the babies and I rode around on the lawnmower out back. We then watched Red. Call me old fashion, call me a romantic, call me whatcha will!

Happy Birthday, Lucy!
We've got a walker! Just in time for her first birthday. We've seen her take as many as 7 steps without falling over. In this video you can also see her signature "hand and feet" crawl and stand up without holding on to anything.
She can say "Mama", "Papa," and says "Buh" for Benjamin. She says "back" when she sees Benjamin's duck towel. She signs "more," "nurse," and "all done." When she is ready to nurse she will bring me her puppy dog lovey and a blanket or her nursing pillow. She needs those things to fell truly comfortable nursing and will even stop nursing to get down and find her puppy if we don't have it. She loves to put things (bean bags, laundry) in and out of containers, and to climb on one of the riding toys and ride backwards until she runs into something and can't go any further. She loves playing hide and seek or chase with her brother and puts up with his loving (which looks more like tackling or wrestling to me). She really loves her daddy, and when she hears him coming in the door she will drop whatever she is doing to crawl over and give a hug. She gives kisses when she feels like it and loves getting her feet washed with a washcloth.

Play time at the park
It was nice at the park yesterday. Of course most days in Columbia are nice, except when it's summer. They are already experiencing some early sings of spring. As for us, it SNOWed today! We will have to wait a little bit longer.
