Black Friday Shooting er shopping

Wasn't really shopping when I bagged this deer. On my first time hunting!!! Pictures were taken by Mrs. Patterson. My hunting companion is Mr. Patterson a friend of the family and my hunting mentor. We meet at this field around 4pm. I was in the tree stand a few minutes later. By 4:36pm on Friday I had seen and shot this deer. Around here we call this buck an 8 pointer. The antlers were 16 3/4 inches apart outside to outside and 15" inside. Approximate weight 140lbs. I did sit in the same stand Saturday afternoon but saw nothing. And a different stand at the same farm Saturday morning.
