As a preface we were bestowed a very well done customizable shelving system. Most of the shelves and side panels are 16" in depth and there are a few 12" deep units. We didn't get any 'instructions' with this system. It was a hand-me-down from a lady that was moving. She didn't have any relationship with us and may never know that her shelving system ended up in our good care. We began by wiping down all the pieces which had been stored in her garage and were dirty. We then inventoried all the pieces that had been labeled by hand. It was relatively simple to write down dimensions and labels but then figuring the whole system out took much more noggin scratching. Here is how it all began!

These pieces were in some kind of order, I guess. ; )

We put two up and did a dry fit to see what we thought and if it was going to be worth our effort.

Each unit has a top shelf and 2 shelves that locked unto metal studs to hold the horizontal structure in place.

Here is a unit laying on its face or show side with the top shelf screw into the side panels.

Here is our first unit that we didn't have to take down or redo! It felt good to have this one in place. The only shelves included here are the locking shelves.

We began in this exterior corner and worked our way towards the hallway. This shows additional shelves being added and another unit, 84" tall, in place. All units are screwed into the drywall to anchor them to the studs.

Here is the other side, doorway into the hallway. Shelving will hold Benjamin and Lucy's books and toys.

Nearly done. Adding 'stuff' from our guest bedroom/office/library room to the shelves.

Most of the adult books and board games are located on this exterior wall corner. Only 2 shelves have books doubled up.

An overall view with the computer desk and 2nd monitor.

A glimpse from the opposite wall.
All done.
Next step to furnish our guest bedroom with a queen size bed & bedroom suit we are storing from some friends of ours while they rough it in a fully furnished cabin!
