We recently took the girls I work with at church to Girls Camp. We went to Bear-Den Campground. One of the many amenities was this beach. We thought it was much better than the real thing! No waves to knock you over, no one to compete with for good spots, shade for the grownups to sit in...
Benjamin loved it. He spent lots of time playing in the water and splashing around. We also put Lucy in. She wasn't sure what to make of it at first and had to work her way in gradually (I think the fact that it was a little cold rather than the warm bath put her off a bit), but she really got into it. We have a video to post of her first experience, but you'll have to wait for that one as it is late and I am too tired to get it uploaded :)
This is Benjamin playing with his new best friend Addison. She is three and calls him "Ben-joe-min." He is always asking to play with Addison, go to her house, etc. On Wednesday night at the church they found a pair of Spiderman slippers. Someone told them they needed to share, so they each took one slipper and ran around for the next hour, happy as can be!
