Baby, there ain't no mountain high enough...

Lucy is moving a lot these days!  She can pull up, climb onto the step of the bathtub, crawl through the rungs of chairs, and in general get wherever she wants to go.  She has started cross-crawling, and is getting VERY noisy at the dinner table.  She happily screams and sqauwks as she plays with her water bottle.  She is starting to be more interested in food, although she still doesn't eat much.  She is just dying to feed herself but she has a hard time getting banana chunks into her mouth!  Here is a short video of one of her favorite places to stand:



In Benjamin news, he is getting really good at counting.  He can count to 11 with no mistakes, and after he skips 12 he can get to 16.  He is starting to make the connection between letters and words- he can reliably identify that B is for Ben and L is for Lucy.  We're starting to talk about sounds, like what starts with B.  He is also doing lots of role play of something he has seen or done, like flying on the airplane.  He loves to run and play football- he runs in circles untik he falls over, then says "I got tackled!"  His speech is getting quite good and he can generally talk to strangers, although he does still make some cute mistakes.  When Lucy crawls into a room after us, he will say "Lucy is coming to enjoin us!"
